Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cereal (e.g. oats, quinoa, rice bread)
- 1/2 cup almonds, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (e.g. cranberries, gooseberries)
- 1/4 cup honey or fruit syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter or coconut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt

These healthy cereal bars are ideal to take with you as a snack during the day or to enjoy a tasty fruit before your workout.

Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix the cereal, almonds and dried fruit together.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey or fruit syrup, almond or coconut butter and vanilla extract until melted and incorporated.
- Remove from heat and stir the honey/butter mixture into the cereal until evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and press well to compact.
- Refrigerate the bars for about 1 hour or until completely firm.
- Remove from the pan and cut into bars. Enjoy!
